My Craigslist Experience
I saw a blurb on the Internet (I think it was AOL's home page) about someone who used Craigslist to lure someone to a house where they were killed, or something like that. I am leery of . . . more

Describe Yourself:Driven, never satisified, hard-working, tired, always wanting more, a romantic, wanting a better world, wanting to be taken care of. I've written professionally for the last 16 years. Almost two years ago, I published my first fiction online. I self-published my own 'zine for 11 years. Planning to start a humor blog. I already have my own blog (www.edgeofgloria.blogspot.com).

On Gather, I'm Looking For ...:People who are probably left of center, interested in the world, who like to write and read. My favorite topics to write about are work and struggling to make a name for myself as a writer. I am a huge fan of Barbara Ehrenrich.

Rosa See Ya, Sep 25, 2009, 4:54AM EDTHi, I see that you are connected with Carolion. There is some news about her in a post on my homepage. Please read, thank you - Rosa
To our mutual friends, sorry for the generic ping/email, I am trying to reach as many people as I can -
Angela A., Apr 10, 2009, 12:12AM EDTHave you checked out The End of Olivia's Innocence yet?
Well, have you? Have you?
Te he!!
I'm very impatient aren't I?
Well, I'll be glad to see you there.
And, just send me an email when have something you wish me to see..
Or send me the ping with the title or the link. -
Angela A., Apr 7, 2009, 4:38PM EDTHey there! I've been rather busy myself these days.
I understand how that goes.
It was great to hear from you.
I will visit your posts when I have the chance. Just remind me, if you remember, okay?
Hugs, A. -
Angela A., Jan 31, 2009, 1:24PM ESTI'm just very stubborn. I hate doing things I don't want to do.
I've been avoiding the dishes since this Monday!
I hate doing dishes, by the way. And, of course when you have a sick hubby, two kids and other stuff on your mind, you tend to be more choosy about what you write.
To further explain, I truly don't like trying to make my life healthy. I can't stand diets.
My philosophy is that when you die, you're gonna be skin and bones anyway, so why starve yourself?
Anywho, how about I send you a friend request, and we agree to disagree anyway?
Te he!
I truly do love when my friends have differing opinions from me. It sparks lively debates.
How about a virtual hug from me to you? In extending further friendship?
Okay, I've written too much already! So, I will go.
Bye for now, and bless your soul. -
Angela A., Jan 26, 2009, 7:37PM ESTI saw your comment on the Boca challenge on Stephanie's Gather giveaway post, and here's your statement and my response:
250 words is "a bit much"? How on earth did you ever get through English class? And why are you on this site in the first place? Gloria.
Gloria, I only meant that my health is not something I believe I could come up with 250 words for, my mind just went blank with this essay. And, if you're not interested in the subject matter, you might not find anything to say either.
I'd rather write on a subject I like. Thanks for your opinion, any way. -
Linda B., Jan 21, 2009, 8:39PM ESTThanks for the friend request! Yes, I gladly accept...I commented on your comment, by the way; about asking 'how' or 'what' helping to reveal the 'why' in our search for a solution. Asking 'why' doesn't help us do that, it keeps us ground to a halt, waiting for an answer that may not help us move forward anyway.
I thought it was deep when I wrote it, but maybe not.
